When she was just four years old, Gowri Pillai witnessed homelessness firsthand and felt there was something she could do about it. With her birthday coming up, she decided to host a food drive to benefit the Great Plains Food Bank.

Now in her 12th year, you can help Gowri be certain no one goes hungry by giving to her virtual food drive.

  • Make an Impact

With 1 in 6 neighbors facing hunger, including 1 in 4 children, Virtual Food Drives are an impactful way to help neighbors facing hunger. Every $1 raised can help provide 2 meals to those in need. Donations made represent the real products that the Great Plains Food Bank uses to provide support to those seeking food assistance in our communities. Rather than paying retail prices, Great Plains Food Bank works with major manufacturers, retailers, and farmers to secure healthy foods and combat food waste. This allows us to stretch donations to have a greater impact.
